So in my religion class today, our professor was talking about how the Bible was originally written in Greek and Hebrew. He showed us both the Greek and Hebrew alphabet, and asked us to try and write our names in both languages.
Here's mine!
from left to right: kappa, alpha, tau, rho, iota, nu, alpha
This is my name, 'Katrina', in Greek.
And this is my name in Hebrew.
What's interesting about the Hebrew alphabet is that, originally, they didn't have vowels, that's why my name in Hebrew is short. And another interesting thing about the Hebrew language is that it's suppose to be written from right to left, so I hope I wrote down my name in Hebrew correctly.
Anywho, I'll probably have more 'Things I Learn In College' segments, so stay tuned!
xoxo
